You can be either (pick two):
a) Cold
b) Wet
c) Miserable

I refuse to pick C, even though I just rode home in the rain. Of course, as soon as I get the bike into the garage, it stops raining.

Lunch, and then more motorcycling.

I agree (as a bicyclist) a) and b). As soon as c) comes in it all just sucks.

For me, only having gotten a motorcycle last May and not having much experience in the rain because of the climate of the area in which I live, rain can be (again pick two):

a) Cold

b) Wet

c) Miserable

d) Terrifying

I choose terrifying because, although I love rain, as I said before where I live doesn't get much rain so when it does you get (pick one):

a) Slippery roads because it hasn't rained in two months, letting oil accumulate on the roads

b) Lots of standing water caused by bad drainage systems

Sometimes you just have to pull over.

I don't like riding in the rain. Not because I don't have rain gear, or because I think it's dangerous... it's because I don't want to have to wash the bike. Washing bikes sucks. Once the bike it dirty, I don't give a shit and will ride no matter what.

I have cheap rain gear, but it only starts to leak when it's raining heavily enough that the visibility is bad enough to stop.

On August 4th, I had to drive the Seven in the rain. I'm always A and B, but usually not C... but there's always D) Worried about something shorting out.

If I knew everything was waterproof, I wouldn't care. It's not painted yet, and it's already rusty, so a little more won't be noticed. The seats can be relatively easily removed of their skins and left out to dry. Everything else just wipes off or dries in the sun.

However, I did not have a helmet, and was trying to drive in a torrential downpour with glasses, couldn't see crap other than the refletive markers embedded in the road, and it felt like I was getting stoned in the face by wet icicles. Never the less, I still was grinning from ear to ear... It looks like a F1 car, with four roostertails of spray, and I'd pay to see inside the cars I pass.

In time. Eventually it will be painted, and hopefully waterproofed. Maybe even a removable roof. Who knows.
